Brian Hayek has over 12 years of professional experience in a variety of industries. In 2021, they began working as the Chief Compliance Officer for Stem Holdings, where they reviewed, developed, and implemented a program to meet and exceed the Securities and Exchange Commissions’s Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance standard for 10K annual reports. Brian also migrated and merged multiple data systems and platforms into a cohesive architecture, improving communications, data sharing, and reducing corporate overhead. From 2017 to 2013, they worked at ResMed in various roles, including Global Offering Manager, Global Program Manager - Healthcare Informatics, and Security Product Manager. During this time, they used Lean methodology principles to move a new ResMed service offering from concept to customer beta implementation in 4 months. Brian also researched, designed, pitched, and received approval for a new ResMed beta service offering.

From 2013 to 2009, they worked at Qualcomm as a Security Product Manager, Project Manager, and Project Analyst Intern. During this time, they led technical and business sessions and negotiated contract requirements with customers, carriers, and Independent Software Vendors to define products and features for future Qualcomm devices and Qualcomm’s SecureMSM platform. Brian also took over as product owner for Qualcomm’s Trusted Execution Environment (QSEE).

From 2009 to 2011, they served in the United States Marine Corps in various roles, including Scout Sniper Platoon Commander, Intelligence Officer, and Leadership & Intelligence Student. During this time, they managed 41 Scout Sniper Marines in combat operations in Afghanistan, supervised 19 combat missions during the 6 month deployment with 0 Scout Sniper injuries, and created cost benefit analysis for executive staff for project proposals.

From 2011 to 2010, they were the Owner/Creator of XpressEntry.com, a startup focused on generating increased revenue for restaurants and nightclubs using a market driven, on demand VIP service. Brian also received a provisional patent from the United States Patent office for “Customer Reservation Auction System” (USPTO Application Number: 2014-0025407 A1).

From 2010 to 2005, they worked at Golden State Consultants as a Financial Officer/Technology Officer, where they planned and managed the FY2012 budget of over $500k for growing and developing business. Brian also maintained and executed the financial records for Golden State Consultants including invoicing, expenses, employee payroll, and government reporting requirements.

From 2009 to 2005, they worked as a Project Engineer (Intern to Full Time) at Entropic Communications. During this time, they managed testing for 2 pre-release semiconductors ensuring successful certification and on time mass production release of high priority Multi-Mode Hybrid Silicone Tuner.

From 2005 to 2005, they were a Student at San Diego State University.

Brian also worked at The Home Depot from 2005 to 2005 as a Sales Associate, where they managed a team that analyzed, discovered, and reduced inventory losses in plumbing department by $30,000. Brian was the first part-time employee in 9 years to be awarded employee of the Month for “outstanding customer service and completion of assigned tasks.” Brian was also cross-trained in

Brian Hayek obtained a High School Diploma from North Tama High School between 1998 and 2002. Brian then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Diego State University between 2005 and 2009. Finally, they completed their Master of Business Administration from USC Marshall School of Business between 2015 and 2017, with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
