Alekhya Josyula Venkata

Alekhya Josyula Venkata has extensive experience in scientific support and community engagement. Currently serving as a Scientific Support Specialist at STEMCELL Technologies since June 2018, Alekhya has progressed to roles including Senior Scientific Support Representative and Product and Scientific Support Representative. Prior to this, Alekhya volunteered with the Canucks Autism Network from September 2015 to January 2022, gaining hands-on experience with children and young adults with autism. Additional volunteer roles included participation at Burnaby Village Museum and membership with the Student Biotechnology Network. Alekhya also served as a Teaching Assistant at Simon Fraser University from September 2015 to August 2017, facilitating tutorial discussions and providing support in course instruction. Education includes a Master’s Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology from SreeNidhi Institute of Science and Technology.
