Michael Koenig

Michael Koenig serves as the Associate Dean for Innovation Initiatives and Executive Director of Executive Education at Rice University's Jones Graduate School and Virani Undergraduate School of Business since September 2017, focusing on integrating technology and enhancing business education. Currently, Michael is also the Director on the Board of Directors for the STEM·E Youth Career Development Program, a position held since August 2023. Previously, from October 2007 to August 2017, Michael held the role of Senior Assistant Dean for Degree Programs at The University of Virginia Darden School of Business, managing resources and academic operations for MBA programs. Additional experience includes serving as President of the Governing Board for The National Consumer Voice for Quality Long-Term Care and consulting for The World Bank. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree from Miami University and a Master's degree in International Political Affairs, Development Economics, and International Development from the Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce.
