Amy Metcalfe has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Amy has worked in various roles related to HR and talent acquisition.

Most recently, Amy worked at Stemline Therapeutics, Inc. as the Head of HR - Europe, where they led the Human Resources for the EMEA region. Prior to that, they were the Talent Acquisition Lead & HRBP Europe at Sage Therapeutics, where they were responsible for leading the Talent Acquisition and HR activities across Europe.

Before joining Sage Therapeutics, Amy worked as an Onsite Talent Acquisition Lead at AurigaVision AG, where they supported Sage Therapeutics in building their team. Amy also has experience at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where they held multiple roles including Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition Programs & Sourcing, Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, Manager of Talent Acquisition, Recruitment & Development Specialist, and Executive Assistant & Project Coordinator. In these roles, they were responsible for leading recruitment activities, implementing recruitment programs, and improving KPI reporting.

Amy started their career as a Recruitment Consultant at Badenoch & Clark.

Amy Metcalfe attended the University of Leeds from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Management Studies with a specialization in Business/Managerial Economics. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including ViaEdge - Learning Agility Assessment from Korn Ferry in 2014, Lominger Interview Architect from Lominger International in 2013, and Lominger Leadership Framework from Lominger International in 2012.
