Ayşe Özatılgan

Ayşe Özatılgan has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Ayşe is currently working as the Solid Tumors Medical Lead in the US Medical Affairs department at Stemline Therapeutics since 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Medical Director and Global Medical Lead for Hemoglobinopathies at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from 2021 to 2021.

Ayşe's extensive tenure at Sanofi includes roles such as Global Medical Lead for CEACAM-5, where they led the global medical affairs strategy for a novel ADC launch in lung cancer and other solid tumors from 2020 to 2021. Ayşe also served as the Global Medical Lead for Oncology, specifically focusing on prostate cancer, leading the medical affairs team for Jevtana (cabazitaxel) from 2015 to 2021. Additionally, Ayşe was the Zaltrap (Aflibercept) Medical Project Leader, responsible for launch readiness in Turkey and Middle Eastern countries from 2014 to 2015. Before that, they worked as the Oncology-Hematology Hospital Medical Affairs Manager from 2013 to 2015 and the Therapeutic Area Manager for Oncology and Hematology from 2012 to 2013.

Ayşe Özatılgan started their career at Intermed Istanbul-Turkey in 2009, where they worked in medical practice until 2012. Prior to that, they worked as the Medical Department Manager at Actavis from 2005 to 2009 and as the Oncology Medical Manager at Sanofi in 2004.

Furthermore, Ayşe has a strong academic background, having worked as a Staff and Instructor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Bilim University from 1995 to 2002. Ayşe gained experience as a Radiation Oncology Clinical and Observation Fellow at the Hospitals of Paris and Indianapolis from 1993 to 1995 and as a Radiation Oncology Resident at the Hospitals of Paris, Tours, and Dijon from 1987 to 1993.

Ayşe Özatılgan obtained a Medical Doctor Diploma from Ege University between 1980 and 1986. Later, from 1987 to 1993, they pursued a Radiation Oncology Diploma at Universite de Bourgogne. Following that, Ayşe attended Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) from 1992 to 1993, where they obtained a University Degree in Clinical Oncology. Ayşe continued their studies at the same university for the next academic year (1993-1994) and received another University Degree, this time in Head and Neck Cancers. Ayşe'sfinal educational endeavor took place at Universite Pierre et Marie Curie in 1994-1995, where they specialized in Stereotactic Irradiation.
