Matthias Karl

Matthias Karl has extensive experience in the field of imaging technology, currently serving as a Product Specialist and Team Leader for Image Acquisition New Technologies at STEMMER IMAGING since February 2005. Previously, Matthias held roles as a Senior Image Acquisition Developer and Developer for Image Acquisition/Technical Support at the same company. Prior experience includes an internship at The MGH/HST Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging from 2003 to 2004 and a student trainee position at Siemens from 2001 to 2003. Matthias holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik from the Technical University of Munich, completed in 2004, and spent a brief period as a Visiting Researcher focusing on Video Compression at Boston University in 2003.
