Allan Dovigi

Allan graduated from the University of Toronto with his DDS and practiced general dentistry for 19 years in Canada. He completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at the University of North Carolina, upon graduation he moved to Phoenix Arizona and started a biopsy service (Arizona Oral Pathology) and was hired as full time faculty at Midwestern University’s new College of Dental Medicine. After growing Arizona Oral Pathology to service California and surrounding states in the southwest, Allan merged his biopsy service with Oral Pathology Diagnostic Services based in San Diego, California. He retired from academia at Midwestern University to become owner and laboratory director at OPDS in San Diego where he also provided histotechnology services. Allan sold OPDS and continues to provide surgical pathology services part time. Allan is now Director of Histology and Pathology at Stemson Therapeutics.
