Ciocan Silviu

Ciocan Silviu is an experienced Rig Electrician with a solid background in the maritime and offshore sectors. Currently employed at Stena Drilling Ltd since March 2019, Ciocan has held similar positions at Advance Global Recruitment Ltd, Spencer Ogden, and Ocean Rig. Notable experience includes work on Ocean Rig Poseidon and Ocean Rig Mykonos, both advanced drill ships. Prior roles as an Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) include positions with SC BARKLAV SRL and GSP Offshore, where vital commissioning and operational tasks were undertaken on various vessels. Ciocan's career in electrical engineering was preceded by a degree from Merchant Marine University in Constanta, earned between 2002 and 2007.
