Ross Mungavin

Ross Mungavin is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on design and management in the offshore drilling sector. As the Design Engineering Manager at Stena Drilling since April 2014, Ross leads a team that provides fleet-wide engineering support, overseeing vessel modifications, structural integrity management, and naval architecture. Notable projects include significant structural upgrades and the design of a new advanced semi-submersible drilling unit. Previous experience includes roles as a Design Engineer at Stena Drilling, where Ross managed major upgrades to the drillship fleet, and as an Engineer at Apollo, delivering engineering solutions for various projects in the oil & gas and offshore wind sectors. Ross also holds an MEng (Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Glasgow.
