Richard James

Richard James currently serves as the Regional Port Operations Manager for Stena Line, overseeing port operations across key locations in the Irish Sea including Holyhead, Fishguard, Dublin, Rosslare, and Cherbourg. Prior to this role, Richard held senior management positions at Peel Ports Group, serving as both Deputy Port Director and Operations Director, and at GSCCO - Gulf Stevedoring Contracting Company as Managing Director, managing operations in Saudi Arabian terminals. Additional experience includes roles at Gulftainer Company Limited as Terminal Manager and Project Coordinator, and at Forth Ports Limited as Port Operations Shift Manager. Richard's career began in the Royal Navy as a Deck Officer. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree from King's College London.
