Niels Gebben has a diverse work experience. Niels is currently working as a Business Developer at STENTiT since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at AMT Medical BV as a Business Developer from August 2021 to February 2023.
Before entering the business development field, Niels completed various internships and assistant roles. From January 2021 to July 2021, they served as a Graduate Intern, Healthcare New Business at Teijin. Niels then transitioned to a Seasonal Co-worker, supporting New Business Development activities and conducting research within Teijin's Solution2.0 team from July 2018 to January 2021.
Before joining Teijin, Niels was involved in academic roles. From September 2019 to July 2021, they worked as a VU Ambassador and Student Representative at VU Amsterdam. Niels also served as a Student Assistant in Applied Computer Science from October 2019 to December 2020, and as a Student Assistant in Modeling from February 2020 to March 2020.
Niels also gained research experience at Royal Philips. From March 2019 to July 2019, they worked as a Research Intern in Corporate Sustainability, focusing on digital solutions to improve primary care in underserved healthcare markets. Niels was also a member of the Access to Care Program team within the Corporate Sustainability Office.

From 2009 to 2015, Niels attended Het Rhedens Rozendaal, where they obtained their Pre-University / VWO degree. During this time, they studied a range of subjects including Natuur & Techniek, Natuur & Gezondheid, and Economie.
In 2015, Niels also completed an Atheneum program at SG Het Rhedens.
From 2015 to 2016, Niels attended the University of Twente, focusing on Chemical Engineering.
Niels then enrolled at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) and from 2016 to 2019, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Science, Business & Innovation.
In 2017, they obtained their Propedeuse certification from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
In 2018, Niels participated in an exchange program at Concordia University, where they studied Industrial Engineering & Management and Science in Society.
From 2019 to 2021, Niels continued their studies at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, completing a Master's degree in Science, Business & Innovation with a specialization in Life & Health Sciences.
During their educational journey, Niels also acquired additional certifications, including a Business Strategies for A Better World Specialization from Wharton Online, obtained in July 2020, and participation in the EIT Health Innovation Day in Uppsala, Sweden, obtained in November 2019.
Furthermore, Niels completed a Boston English course, reaching a CERF-level C2 "upper advanced" proficiency, at EF International Language Campuses in 2015.
