Alexandra Kyprianou

Alexandra Kyprianou has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Alexandra is currently employed at STEP Ahead Teaching School Hub as a Project Lead since August 2023. Prior to this, they were a Teaching Fellow at the same organization from September 2022 to July 2023.

Before joining STEP Ahead Teaching School Hub, Alexandra worked at STEP Academy Trust. Alexandra held the position of Assistant Head Teacher, leading various projects and initiatives. Alexandra also served as the Head of Teaching & Learning, responsible for overseeing the school's educational programs. Additionally, they worked as a Year 6 Teacher, providing academic instruction to students. Their tenure at STEP Academy Trust began in September 2017 and is ongoing.

Alexandra also has experience with Teach First, where they were part of the 2017 Cohort from May 2017 to 2019. Alexandra gained valuable teaching skills and knowledge through this program.

In 2016, Alexandra worked as a Teaching Assistant at Coopers Lane Primary School, supporting teachers in providing a quality learning experience for students.

During their time at the University of Bristol Law Clinic, Alexandra held the role of Firm Leader from September 2014 to June 2016. Alexandra led a team of eight students in providing pro-bono legal advice to the public, focusing on areas such as housing disputes and employment contracts. Alexandra received training in essential legal skills, including client interview skills and legal letter writing.

Alexandra was also involved in the University of Bristol StreetLaw Project from September 2014 to June 2016. In this role, they delivered presentations to schools and youth groups on topics such as consumer rights and landlord-tenant issues.

Furthermore, Alexandra participated in the UoB Commercial Awareness Competition from September 2014 to June 2015. Their group was one of two UoB semi-finalists in the competition, which aimed to enhance commercial understanding of current events in the business world.

With their varied experiences and roles, Alexandra Kyprianou has developed a strong background in education, leadership, and legal services.

Alexandra Kyprianou's education history begins in 2010 when they attended Sydenham High School GDST. From 2010 to 2012, they studied subjects including History, Sociology, and Theatre Studies.

In 2013, Alexandra pursued higher education at the University of Bristol, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree between 2013 and 2016. Their field of study during this period was Law.

In 2017, Alexandra enrolled at UCL and completed a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) in Education and Teaching between 2017 and 2019.

Most recently, in 2021 and 2022, Alexandra attended Ambition Institute to pursue a National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership. The specific field of study for this program is not provided.
