Leavi Oshungbure

Leavi Oshungbure is an experienced educator with a diverse range of roles in the education sector. Currently serving as Deputy Head Teacher at the Department for Education since January 2023, Leavi has also held positions as Assistant Head Teacher and Assistant Principal. Previous experience includes roles as Foundation Governor and Teacher of Physical Education from August 2014 to August 2024, as well as Team Leader - Behaviour and Pupil Premium Coordinator and Head of Year at an academy. Additionally, Leavi worked as Second in Department and Pupil Premium Champion at the Department for Education from October 2017 to June 2020. Leavi holds a PGCE Secondary from the University of Warwick and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Birmingham.
