Lucien Bowater is a seasoned executive with a diverse background in leadership and innovation across various sectors. Currently serving as CEO of Olex.AI, Lucien focuses on providing accessible tuition solutions. Previously held roles include Chief of Staff at STEP Academy Trust and multiple senior positions at Sky, including Managing Director of Sky Labs Innovation Centre, where Lucien established an inclusive innovation hub. Additional experience as a Non-Executive Director at Helpful Holidays and a Manager at Accenture highlights expertise in strategic insight and process improvement. Lucien's academic credentials include an Executive MBA from Cambridge Judge Business School and degrees from University of Bristol and INSEAD, along with participation in the Executive Leadership Development Programme at Stanford University.

STEP Academy Trust currently comprises of seven members - Applegarth Academy, David Livingstone Academy, La Fontaine Academy, Gonville Academy, Wolsey Junior Academy, Angel Oak Academy and Heathfield Academy. The name, an acronym, reflects the aspirational nature of the organisation - Striving Together for Excellence in Partnership.
