Ivan Romero

Ivan Romero has over 30 years of work experience in the technology industry. Ivan began their career in 1990 as a Network Administrator at Spec's Music, where they provided service desk support for a retail music chain with over 60 locations throughout Florida and Puerto Rico. In 1994, they moved to Charle's Keath as a Network Administrator, where they were responsible for the administration of server environment supporting 3 campuses and the implementation of an AS400 based retail solution. In 1996, Ivan joined FedEx Express as a Sr. Technical Specialist and provided level 2 and 3 support to offshore technical resources. Ivan was later promoted to Manager - Telecom Technology Management, where they were responsible for the Service Management process for the Latin America and Caribbean division. In 2020, Ivan joined Lennar as the Network and Telecom Engineering Manager, where they managed 8 engineers responsible for architecting, designing and implementing the enterprise's network and telecommunications functions. Most recently, Ivan joined STEP CG as a Manager Project Management Office and Project Manager.

Ivan Romero's education history includes a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems from Florida International University - College of Business, which they obtained between 2002 and 2006. Ivan then went on to obtain an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Nova Southeastern University between 2009 and 2015. Additionally, Ivan has obtained several certifications, including Exam Prep: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) from LinkedIn in March 2021, ITIL Foundation Level from AXELOS Global Best Practice in October 2020, Cradlepoint Certified Network Associate and Cradlepoint Certified Sales Associate from Cradlepoint in November 2021, ITIL® 4 Foundation CPD from AXELOS Global Best Practice in November 2020, CompTIA A+ Certification from CompTIA, and CompTIA Network+ Certification from CompTIA.
