Jerry Tagliarino, PMP®, PMI-ACP, CSM®, has a diverse and extensive work experience in project management.

Jerry began their career at Trinity Communication Services Ltd. in 2003, where they worked as a Project Manager in commercial planning and construction management until 2010. Jerry then transitioned to the role of Manager in the Project Management Office until 2012. From 2012 to 2015, Jerry served as a Senior Project Manager at the company.

In 2015, they joined Rogers Communications as a Program Manager, where they were responsible for various projects and programs, including the delivery of MPLS and wireless backups across Canada and data center migration for enterprise clients.

Jerry then moved to the Greater Toronto Airports Authority in 2016 as a Portfolio Delivery Manager. Here, they managed the intake and onboarding of projects, gate reviews, project plans, and cost estimates. Jerry also played a pivotal role in business process re-engineering and implementing project management best practices.

In 2018, Jerry joined GFL Environmental Inc. as the Director of the Project Management Office. In this role, they managed all phases of projects, created project schedules, and coordinated cross-functional project teams.

Most recently, Jerry started working at Bird Construction in 2023 as the Director of Programs and the Project Management Office.

In 1993, they received a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics / Business from York University. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1993, they attended Don Bosco Secondary School.

Jerry further pursued their education in project management at Schulich ExecEd in 2010, where they obtained a Masters Certificate in Project Management. Jerry expanded their knowledge in project management by acquiring the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in 2010, and the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification in 2015.

Jerry continued their professional development by attending Schulich ExecEd once again in 2017 and 2018, where they obtained certificates in "Leadership through Teambuilding" and "Leading Sustainable Strategic Change," respectively.

Jerry's dedication to expanding their skill set is evident through their additional certifications. In 2010, they earned a Master's Certificate in Project Management from Schulich Executive Education Centre (SEEC). Jerry also obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance in 2020.

Furthermore, they pursued various certifications related to leadership and strategic thinking. In 2019, they obtained a certification in "Project Management Simplified" from LinkedIn. In 2021, they acquired the Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from 6sigmastudy. Most recently, in 2022 and 2023, they obtained certifications in "Strategic Thinking" and "Transformational Leadership" from LinkedIn, respectively.
