Richard Britten

Richard Britten has a diverse background in finance and leadership roles. Richard is currently working at StepChange Debt Charity as a Finance Director, a role they have held since May 2018. Prior to this, they served as the Interim Finance Director at the same company starting in January 2018.

From 2010 to 2017, Richard worked at Mitchell Farrar Group as the Finance Director and Deputy Managing Director. Before that, they held the position of Finance Director at Link Telecom from 2007 to 2010.

Earlier in their career, Richard worked as the Financial Controller - International at Provident Financial plc from 2004 to 2006. Richard also worked at Enterprise Oil as a Corporate Finance Manager from 1993 to 2002.

Richard's career began at Ernst & Young in 1988, where they were an ACA Audit employee until 1993.

Richard Britten attended The King's School Macclesfield from 1979 to 1985 for their secondary education. Following this, they studied at the University of Oxford from 1985 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics.
