Shahrzad has experience working with financial institutions, lessors and airlines on a range of aviation finance transactions, including sale and leasebacks, prepayments, financings, novations, new deliveries and leasings. She has also worked on cross-border transactions with clients and counterparties located in various jurisdictions including Japan, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Turkey.

Shahrzad has worked alongside the team on the prepayment and purchase of 21 B737-900ER aircraft by Lion Air, Indonesia's largest private airline. She also assisted the team which advised AirAsia Group Berhad, and its wholly-owned subsidiary Asia Aviation Capital Limited (AACL), on the sale of AACL's entire equity interest in Merah Aviation Asset Holding Limited in a deal valued at US$768 million involving 25 aircraft, and advised Lion Air Group and its subsidiaries on its aircraft fleet portfolio transfers of B737 aircraft and A330 aircraft leases from multiple lessor groups.

Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reviewing of corporate approvals and ancillary documents, collation of conditions precedents and conditions subsequent in relation to aircraft deliveries and document management.
