From 1999 to 2018, Antonio held multiple roles at Banco Votorantim. Antonio started as an IT Executive Manager and led the Investment Banking and Markets Technology development area. Antonio managed large teams and oversaw systems implementation, maintenance, and support for various areas including front-office, middle-office, back-office, treasury, and risk management. Antonio successfully managed the development and implementation of treasury platforms and a new platform for credit risk integrated with core banking systems.

Antonio's earlier experience includes working as a System Engineer at Itaú Unibanco from 1996 to 1999, where they led a team responsible for attending to user needs, deployment, maintenance, and support for private banking and asset management areas. Antonio also worked at Banco Nossa Caixa S.A. from 1991 to 1996 as a System Developer, where they developed systems for IBM Mainframe using COBOL language and implemented conversion techniques.

Following that, they completed a Postgraduate Degree in Quality Control Technology/Technician at Universidade Metropolitana de Santos from 1996 to 1997. Antonio further expanded their knowledge by completing a Master of Technology (MTech) in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management at FIAP from 2001 to 2003. Lastly, Antonio obtained an Executive MBA with a focus on Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa in 2008 and 2009.
