Miho Kubagawa, Ed.L.D., has an extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Miho is currently serving as the Vice President of Talent and Strategic Partnerships at Coursemojo, where they help expand access to high-quality learning for middle and high school students. Prior to this role, they were the Founding Chief of Staff to the CEO (pre-merger at Stepmojo) at Coursemojo.
Before joining Coursemojo, Miho worked at NewSchools Venture Fund, where they held multiple roles. Miho was a Partner from August 2019 to December 2021, a Senior Associate Partner from May 2018 to July 2019, and a Doctoral Resident from July 2017 to April 2018 as part of the Harvard Ed.L.D. program.
Miho also gained experience at the Walton Family Foundation as a Summer Fellow in K-12 Education in 2016. Additionally, they worked at KIPP NYC, where they held various roles including Founder and Director of the Teacher Residency Program (Empire Fellows), Director of Talent Recruitment, and Founding 7th Grade Math Teacher at KIPP Infinity Middle School.
Furthermore, Miho started their career as a Middle School Math Teacher at Teach For America from June 2007 to June 2009.
Miho Kubagawa, Ed.L.D. completed a Doctor of Education Leadership (Ed.L.D.) degree at Harvard University from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science in Teaching degree in Adolescent Education from Pace University. Their undergraduate education was at Duke University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics. Miho Kubagawa completed their high school education at Indian Springs School.
