Lauren Katz

Lauren Katz is an Education Programs Assistant and Teaching Artist at Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Prior to their current position, Lauren was a Director at Haven Theatre, Babes With Blades, and Play In A Book. Lauren also served as a Directors Inclusion Initiative Fellow and Assistant Director at Victory Gardens Theater. Lauren has been a Teaching Artist with Mudlark Theater, Adventure Stage Chicago at the Northwestern University Settlement, and Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Additionally, they were a Tutor with Varsity Tutors.

Lauren Katz completed their Bachelor of Arts in English and Drama at Kenyon College. Lauren then studied abroad in England at the University of Exeter, where they focused on English Literature.

Their manager is Megan Shuchman, Director of Education. They work with Abigail Piñon - Teaching Artists, Jarrett King - Teaching Artists, and Kona N. Burks - Teaching Artists.
