Craig van der Maden

Craig Van Der Maden has a diverse work experience in various industries. Craig worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Steppin' Up Physical Therapy from February 2015 to December 2020, where they provided individualized and creative care emphasizing compassion and hospitality. Craig also served as the Chief Marketing Officer at the same company from August 2019 to September 2023. Prior to that, they owned and operated Generations Fitness, LLC from October 2013 to June 2020, offering personalized health and fitness training. Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Saint Francis in January 2019. Craig also has experience in the fitness industry, having worked as the Fitness Director and Certified Personal Trainer at Max Fitness from August 2012 to October 2013 and February 2012 to July 2012, respectively. Craig started their career in 2005 as an Infantry Team Leader in the US Army 25th Infantry Division, where they served as an active-duty infantryman and completed a 15-month combat tour in Iraq.

Craig Van Der Maden obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from Brown Mackie College, Fort Wayne, IN, from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned another AAS degree in Health and Fitness Training from Brown Mackie College Fort Wayne, between 2010 and 2012. In addition, they have obtained several certifications in various fields such as vestibular rehab, personal training, CPR/AED, and clinical instruction, among others.
