Steps On Broadway
Brent McBeth is an accomplished tap teacher with extensive experience in the dance industry, currently teaching at Broadway Dance Center and Steps On Broadway since July 2019. In addition to teaching, Brent serves as a dance adjudicator for Turn It Up Dance Challenge, Inc. since March 2015, where responsibilities include judging regional and national competitions and leading dance conventions. Brent's creative contributions as a performer, creator, and choreographer with Parallel Exit have resulted in various physical comedy and tap shows that have toured across the U.S. Additionally, Brent has performed as Skip the Clown at Big Apple Circus and adjudicated and taught at Dance Troupe, Inc. and other organizations. An early career involved performances at Theatre Under The Stars and a brief role as a dance teacher at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Brent holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Sam Houston State University, completed in 2002.

Steps on Broadway, founded in 1979, is more than just a dance studio. Classes are offered seven days a week at all levels in ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, tap, theater dance, hip hop, ethnic, and body conditioning. On any given day, one may take class alongside today’s performers and seasoned veterans from concert dance companies, such as New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Paris Opera, Kirov and Royal Ballets, Boston Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Complexions, and Martha Graham, as well as the opera, Broadway, and the commercial dance world. Steps is a celebrated space. It’s a state-of-the-art facility with an old-world ambiance and a steady pulse of passion, energy, and inspiration. It is a cultural hub, an artistic resource, and a cosmopolitan treasure.
