Chryssie Whitehead

Chryssie Whitehead is an accomplished author, artist, and lead producer of "In My Own Little Corner," a motivational cabaret aimed at raising mental health awareness through an autobiographical play with music since January 2022. With extensive teaching experience at Broadway Dance Center and Steps On Broadway since June 2021, Chryssie also co-founded the Broadway Arts Community in April 2017, dedicated to providing a supportive environment for artists focused on elite training, process, joy, and a healthy mindset. Additionally, Chryssie serves as Co-Director and Director/Choreographer at AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts since August 2005. Chryssie holds an education from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.

Steps On Broadway

Steps on Broadway, founded in 1979, is more than just a dance studio. It is an internationally recognized community of artists, committed to the cultivation of individuality and talent, to the joy, the work, the focus, and the abandon of dance. Classes are offered seven days a week at all levels in ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, tap, theater dance, hip hop, ethnic, and body conditioning. Steps is the true epicenter of New York’s professional dance community. Steps is a celebrated space. It’s a state-of-the-art facility with an old-world ambiance and a steady pulse of passion, energy, and inspiration.
