David Hirst

David Hirst is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and language instruction. Currently, David serves as a Teacher at Preply since January 2025 and has been a self-employed TEFL and TESOL Teacher Online since November 2024. Previously, David worked as an English Teacher at Lord School from August 1991 to August 1996, where instruction spanned all levels from infants to business English. Following that, David was a self-employed Spanish Teacher from September 1996 to September 2006, specializing in business-level Spanish for immigration officers and officials and also providing translation services. Additionally, David has considerable experience in piano tuning and repair, having worked at Accurate Tuning from September 1997 to November 2024. David holds TEFL and TESOL certifications from The TEFL Org, obtained in October 2024.
