Nicholas Cunningham

Nicholas Cunningham is a dedicated dance professional with extensive experience in various roles within the performing arts. Currently serving as faculty at both the Broadway Dance Center and Steps On Broadway, Nicholas has also held positions such as Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO at HIVE DIVERSITY and Head of Dance at The Institute for American Musical Theatre. Previous contributions include roles as Associate Choreographer and Ensemble member at Ravinia Festival and The Philadelphia Orchestra, as well as performing as a dancer with prestigious organizations like New York City Center and The Really Useful Group Ltd. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and an Associate of Arts in Dance from Edith Cowan University.

Steps On Broadway

Steps on Broadway, founded in 1979, is more than just a dance studio. It is an internationally recognized community of artists, committed to the cultivation of individuality and talent, to the joy, the work, the focus, and the abandon of dance. Classes are offered seven days a week at all levels in ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, tap, theater dance, hip hop, ethnic, and body conditioning. On any given day, one may take class alongside today’s performers and seasoned veterans from concert dance companies, such as New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Paris Opera, Kirov and Royal Ballets, Boston Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Complexions, and Martha Graham, as well as the opera, Broadway, and the commercial dance world. Steps is a celebrated space. It’s a state-of-the-art facility with an old-world ambiance and a steady pulse of passion, energy, and inspiration.
