Jess Renyard

Jess Renyard is currently a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant at STEPS Rehabilitation Ltd, a position held since September 2021. Prior experiences include serving as Team Secretary for Children's Speech and Language Therapy at Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust and as a Student Ambassador at The Access Platform and the University of York. At Lancaster University, Jess contributed to the development of a voice-assistant skill and engaged in neuroscientific linguistic relativity research while serving as a Conversational Specialist and an intern. Jess's early career includes a retail position at Iceland Foods, focusing on customer service and teamwork. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Forensic Speech Science from the University of York and a BA in English Language and Linguistics from Lancaster University.
