Nikos Makaritis

Nikos Makaritis is a seasoned computer software engineer with extensive experience in the development of web applications and IoT systems, particularly in the field of smart agriculture. Currently, Makaritis serves as a Computer Software Engineer at Stere and a Senior Computer Software Engineer at the Institute for Bio-economy and Agri-technology, where significant contributions include partnerships with industry leaders and the creation of high-tech agricultural solutions. Previous roles have included positions at farmB, ILVIEF, Centaur Analytics, and the University of Thessaly, showcasing a strong background in designing scalable software, supervising engineering projects, and teaching. Makaritis holds a PhD candidacy and has earned a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering with first-class honors, alongside an Integrated Master's degree in the same field from the University of Thessaly.
