Gustavo H.c. Varca

Gustavo H.C. Varca, B. Pharm, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Technology at Steri-Tek since July 2025 and has been the President and Director of Science and Technology at ALATI - Asociación Latinoamericana de Tecnología de la Irradiación since March 2023. Varca has extensive experience in editorial roles, holding the position of Associate Editor for the Radiation Physics and Chemistry journal since August 2016 and previously participating as a reviewer for multiple scientific journals. Varca's career includes a managerial role at E-BEAM Services Inc. and advisory positions with the International Irradiation Association. Varca's academic credentials include a Post Doctorate in Nuclear Technologies from the Nuclear and Energy Research Institute at the University of São Paulo, alongside a PhD in Nuclear Technology.
