Bettina Freire is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Regional General Counsel and Compliance Officer for Stericycle, overseeing international operations in Latin America, Spain, Portugal, and Romania. With extensive experience in legal matters across various regions including Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and Puerto Rico, Bettina previously held roles as Associate General Counsel for Avnet Technology Solutions, where responsibilities included managing legal affairs across multiple Latin American countries. Bettina's career commenced at Latham & Watkins, LLP, where leadership in international finance and Mergers & Acquisitions was established. Additionally, Bettina served as Corporate Counsel for Corporación Antiguo Puerto Madero S.A. Bettina holds a Master of Laws in International and Corporate Laws from Columbia Law School, a Master of Laws in Business and Corporate Law from Universidad Austral, and a Doctor of Law from the University of Buenos Aires.
