Megan Macy has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications. Megan started their career as a 2010 Summer Marketing Intern at the American Paint Horse Association, where they wrote press releases and worked with media for event coverage. Megan then worked as an External Communications Intern at Tyson Foods, conducting marketing research and participating in crisis management simulations. At Osborn Barr, they served as an Account Associate, managing accounts for Merck Animal Health and implementing marketing communication campaigns. Megan also held positions at the Kansas Department of Agriculture, where they served as Director of Public Relations and Associate Director of Communications and Public Relations, and at Kansas State University as a Marketing Specialist. Their responsibilities included creating marketing materials, branding, and implementing statewide programs. Currently, Megan works at Sterilex, where they have held multiple roles, including Field Marketing Specialist for Animal Health and Segment Marketing Manager for both Animal Health and Protein markets. In their current role as Segment Market Manager, they lead the development and execution of market strategies, identifies gaps in product lines, conducts market research, and analyzes sales data and market trends. Megan Macy completed their Master's degree in Communication, General from Purdue University from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Education, Communication, and Technology with an emphasis in Agricultural Communications from the University of Arkansas between 2009 and 2011. Megan also holds an Associate degree in Agriculture from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, where they studied from 2007 to 2009.
