Scott Burnett

Scott Burnett has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development, food safety, and hygiene management. Scott currently holds the position of Vice President of Research & Development and Technical Services at Sterilex since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Scientist at Post Consumer Brands from November 2018 to December 2021. Scott also served in various roles at Ecolab, including Director of Food Safety, Global Food & Beverage, and Director of RD&E Food and Beverage Latin America. Scott worked at Land O'Lakes as a Dairy Foods Hygiene Manager in 2013 and held multiple positions at MOM Brands, including Manager of Corporate Quality and Food Safety, Manager of Corporate Sanitation and Food Safety, and Senior Microbiologist. Scott started their career at Ecolab as a Senior Product Development Program Leader.

Scott Burnett completed their Bachelor's degree at Montana State University-Bozeman from 1991 to 1997. Scott pursued a double major in Microbiology and Spanish during this period. Later, from 1998 to 2001, they attended The University of Georgia, where they obtained their PhD in Food Science and Technology.
