Dhruv Patel has been working in a variety of roles since 2013. In 2013, they worked as an Intern at Cummins Inc., where they analyzed the manufacturing process of 5C and identified the bottle neck of the Connecting Rod process cycle to reduce downtime. In 2016, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Swanand Group, Sales & Services Private Limited, where they assisted the team in designing part & assembly drawings, configured drafts for manufacturing of in-house components, and supervised the team to set up gear grinding machine. In 2018, they worked as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Cummins Inc., where they tracked & reduced Aged WIP using ERP, customized and redesigned the test cell hydraulic system, and identified static after-treatment & up-fit parts. In 2019, they worked as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Arlington, where they designed servers, racks & heat sinks for data centres and accomplished simulations using CFD analysis on Ansys Icepack and Fluent. Currently, they are working as a Project Manager and Project Engineer at SteriPack Contract Manufacturing.
Dhruv Patel completed their primary school education at St. Ursula High School from 1998 to 2004. Dhruv then attended St Vincents High School, Pune from 2004 to 2010, obtaining their SSC in 2010. In the same year, they attended Sinhgad Institute of Technology & Science and obtained their HSC in 2012. Dhruv then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering at Modern Education Society's College of Engineering, Pune, which they completed in 2016. In 2017, they began their Master of Engineering (ME) in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington, which they completed in 2019. Additionally, Dhruv Patel has obtained several certifications, including a Certified SolidWorks Professional from Dassault Systèmes in 2019, an Introduction to Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing from LinkedIn in 2019, a Certified SolidWorks Associate from Dassault Systèmes in 2019, a Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE) from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2019, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Management and Strategy Institute in 2019.
