Jason Cartwright

Jason Cartwright is a Specialist R&D Engineer at STERIS since December 2023, with extensive experience in medical device commercialization and engineering. Previously, Jason held the position of Sr Staff Engineer, R&D Engineering at BD, where responsibilities included leading projects, providing technical expertise, and addressing customer product issues. Earlier roles included Manager of R&D Engineering at both BD and CareFusion, with a focus on surgical instruments and compliance with FDA standards. Jason began his career at Baxter Healthcare as a Sr. Principal Engineer and Principal Engineer, and gained early experience in mechanical simulation at Motorola. Jason holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
