Bernadette Janssen

Bernadette Janssen is an accomplished professional in the field of youth and behavioral science, currently serving as a Science Practitioner at Tilburg University’s Academische Werkplaats Jeugd since September 2020. Concurrently, Bernadette has been involved in research on complex separations at Altra onderwijs en jeugdhulp since August 2019 and has been a behavioral scientist at Kompaan en De Bocht since April 2005, focusing on specialized ambulatory youth care and system guidance. Prior experience includes research at Avans Hogeschool on criteria for assistance in domestic violence situations from June 2016 to August 2019, and serving as a special curator for the Zeeland-West Brabant Court from September 2015 to August 2019, advising on child welfare dilemmas. Bernadette holds a Master’s degree in Orthopedagogy, specializing in psychosocial issues in children and adolescents, from Utrecht University, completed in 2001.
