Lian Smits

Lian Smits has extensive experience in leadership roles within social and healthcare organizations. Currently serving as Bestuurder at Sterk Huis since January 2009, Lian oversees initiatives aimed at providing a safe and independent life for individuals and families. Prior to this, Lian was part of the Raad van Bestuur at De Bocht, an organization focused on support for women and children, from June 2002 to January 2009. Lian also held a position as regiodirecteur at the Raad voor de Kinderbescherming between June 1998 and June 2002, and worked at Charlotte Oord en Revalidatiecentrum Leijpark from August 1986 to June 1998, progressing from Kinderpsycholoog to Manager. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in management and organization from TIAS School for Business and Society, and a Doctoral degree in Psychology specializing in child and adolescent psychology.
