Sankar Seshan

Sankar Seshan has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Sankar currently holds the position of Head - Design & Engineering T&D and Metro Railways at Sterling and Wilson since June 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Operations at Inergio.io from April 2021 to June 2023. Sankar also worked at Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy as the Head of PMO SCADA & System Integration from November 2017 to March 2021. Other notable roles in their career include General Manager at Sterling and Wilson, General Manager at Helles Gruen DMCC, and Divisional Manager at Al Gurg Automation & Controls (AGAC). Sankar started their career as an Engineer at Larsen & Toubro Limited and also held significant positions at ABB, where they eventually became the BU Manager-IBMS/Building Systems.

Sankar Seshan completed their primary schooling at NSS higher secondary school Tripunithura from 1978 to 1985. Sankar then attended Rajarshi Memorial School, Vadavucode from 1986 to 1988 for their high school education. After that, they pursued a Pre Degree in Physics, Maths, and Chemistry at Maharaja's College, Ernakulam from 1988 to 1990. Sankar then went on to study at the National Institute of Technology Calicut from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a BTECH (HONOURS) degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. In 2005, they attended the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and completed a program called ABB Young Manager, focusing on General Management. Finally, in 2020 to 2021, Sankar pursued a Postgraduate Degree in Data Science and Business Analytics at The University of Texas at Austin.
