Allison Pence

Allison Pence has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Allison started their career in 2002 at Ikon Education Services as a Registration/Resource Coordinator. In 2004, they joined Wells Fargo Asset Management, where they served as an Insurance Licensing/Continuing Education Specialist until 2007. During their time at Wells Fargo, Allison also worked as a Marketing Database/RFP Specialist, focusing on data analysis, database management, and producing RFP responses. From 2012 to 2019, they worked at Nuveen in various roles, including Senior Marketing Associate, AVP, Institutional Marketing, and AVP, Senior Event Manager. Currently, Allison serves as the Head of Marketing at Sterling Capital Management LLC, a position they have held since November 2021.

Allison Pence began their education at UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business in 1998 and completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on finance in 2002. Allison then pursued further education at Queens University of Charlotte from 2011 to 2014, earning a Master of Arts in Communication. Additionally, they received several certifications including the Cvent Professional Certification from Cvent in July 2018, the Cvent Supplier Network Student Certification from Cvent in July 2015, and the UNC Charlotte Meeting & Event Planning Certification from UNC Charlotte in November 2014.
