Joseph Alani

Joseph Alani, P.E. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in utility management and civil engineering. Currently serving as the Utilities Section Manager at Sterling Engineering since March 2024, Joseph previously held various roles at Milhouse Engineering and Construction, Inc., including Gas Distribution Manager and Project Manager. Prior experience includes working as a Design Engineer for Peoples Gas, where Joseph was selected as an in-house consultant for PGL, and at HBK Engineering, LLC, where responsibilities encompassed troubleshooting telecommunications and utility infrastructure issues. Joseph's foundational experience includes positions as Project Manager and Graduate Engineer at Applied Geoscience, Inc., and earlier roles as Field Engineering Technician at Geosource, Inc. and Engineering Technician at Applied Geoscience. Joseph holds a degree from the University of Kansas - School of Engineering.
