Anand Ramanathan has over 14 years of work experience. Anand is currently working as a Principal Engineer at Sterling since April 2018. In this role, they have been responsible for crafting and owning System Architecture and design artifacts for Micro services. Anand also designed and developed an Event driven scalable solution for Post hire Workforce monitoring products. Additionally, they have directed multiple vendors selection processes and integration for several fulfillments.

Prior to joining Sterling, Anand worked at Apple as a Tech Lead from November 2015 to April 2018.

Before that, they worked at Hewlett-Packard as an Info Systems Architect from July 2006 to October 2015. During their time at HP, they contributed to the system design and development of the Indian government's "Aadhar" initiative, which is used by 1.3 billion people. Anand also designed and developed distributed modules collaborating with multiple partners for the California Case Management and Payroll System, utilizing IBM technologies.

Anand Ramanathan obtained their MCA degree in Computer Applications from the College of Engineering, Guindy from 2003 to 2006. Anand also holds additional certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional, Java EE 5 Web Component Developer from Oracle and Sun Certified Java Programmer from Sun Microsystems.
