Carter Sterling

Carter Sterling is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the industrial matting and lumber sectors. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and Strategic Advisor at Sterling Site Access Solutions since 2014, Carter has led the company in launching innovative products like TerraLam CLT mats and TerraCross bridges, while enhancing sustainability initiatives and doubling manufacturing capacity with a new facility in Texas. Prior to this role, Carter was President of Sterling Lumber Company, now known as Lion Lumber, from 1998 to 2014, where significant growth was achieved by expanding the workforce from 36 to over 210 employees and relocating to a state-of-the-art facility. Carter holds a degree in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management from the University of Colorado Boulder.
