Stephen Levi Carter is a Strategist, Thought Leader, and Author with over 20 years of experience in various fields. Stephen Levi began their career in 2000 as a Finance Manager/Business Consultant at Texas Instruments, where they identified $11.2M in excessive expenditures and designed and implemented cost avoidance procedures, resulting in $5M in cost savings. In 2001, they took on the role of Director of Finance at Beststaff Technical Services, where they advised the CEO and Executive team on financial options and spearheaded the merger and acquisition pursuits of the firm. From 2002 to 2006, they held various roles at BHP Billiton and KPMG, including Process Improvement Leader and Sr. Associate, Internal Audit Risk and Advisory Services. During this time, they managed and executed processes associated with BHP Billiton's Internal Control and Risk Management efforts and provided high quality professional day-to-day execution of internal audit engagements and special projects at KPMG. In 2004, they began teaching part-time as an Adjunct Finance & Accounting Professor at the University of Phoenix. From 2006 to 2011, they worked at Gulf Interstate Engineering as a Project Services Manager and Manager, Project Controls, and at Maceo Carter & Associates LLC as Managing Partner & Co-Founder. In 2011, they also became Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder of Sterling Staffing Solutions LLC. In 2015, they assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer & Founder of White Orchid Hospice, LLC, where they provide executive leadership and assumes responsibility and accountability for the overall management, performance, and operational planning of the company.

Stephen Levi Carter has obtained a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Houston - Clear Lake in 2002, a BBA in Accounting from Langston University in 1993, and a HS Diploma from Willowridge High School in 1988. Additionally, Carter obtained a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2014.
