Amey Sukhthanker has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Amey has held various roles at different companies throughout their career.
Amey started their career at GTL Limited in 2000 as an Industry Consultant, where they worked until 2003.
From 2003 to 2004, they worked at Bharti Airtel Limited as a Manager in Enterprise Sales.
Amey then joined Nelco Limited in 2004 as a Manager in Key Accounts and Projects, where they led national projects and service delivery, as well as managed large corporate accounts.
In 2007, they moved on to work at Reliance Communications as an Assistant General Manager at the Corporate HQ. Here, they headed the internet and international data sales, driving revenues from enterprise customers.
In 2009, they joined Tata Teleservices Ltd as a Senior Partner Manager in Wholesale and Carrier Sales. Amey then moved on to become the DGM of Corporate Business, leading a large revenue base and anchor accounts. Amey'sfinal role at Tata Teleservices Ltd was Regional Sales Head for Carrier and Wholesale Business.
Finally, they joined Sterlite Power in 2018 as the National Head for Sales, BD, Marketing, and Communications in the Convergence Business. Amey then became the AVP and Head of Sales and Alliances, driving key organizational imperatives and creating digital marketing channels. Currently, they are the AVP and Business Lead for Telecom, building a world-class business leveraging robust fiber and tower infrastructure.
Amey Sukhthanker received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Goa Engineering College - Government of Goa. Amey then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Sales and Profit Centre Management from IIAMS, Goa, from 2003 to 2005. In 2015, they attended the Tata Management and Training Centre in Pune, where they completed an Advanced Leadership Skills Program in Business Administration and Management, General.
Amey has also obtained several certifications. In July 2020, they completed a course on "How to Innovate and Stay Relevant in Times of Change and Uncertainty" from LinkedIn. In May 2020, they obtained certifications in "Leading in Uncertain Times" and "The Art of Connection: 7 Relationship-Building Skills Every Leader Needs Now (getAbstract Summary)" from LinkedIn as well.
