Anurag Asthana

Anurag Asthana has extensive work experience in the legal field, specifically in the areas of litigation, regulatory compliance, and land procurement. Currently, they are working as AVP Legal (Head Litigation) at Sterlite Power since 2023. Before joining Sterlite Power, they served as GM Legal & Compliance at THINK GAS, where they oversaw land procurement activities and managed day-to-day legal affairs in various areas such as litigation, regulatory compliance, secretarial matters, and procurement/engineering contracts. Prior to that, Anurag worked as Managing Partner at A&A Associates, an advisory and land consultant firm, where they provided legal consultation and assistance to organizations and corporations on land diligence, procurement processes, settlement of compensation, land demarcations, and complex legal issues. Anurag also led teams in general litigation, land acquisitions, arbitrations, and settlement of disputes through mediation, conciliation, and court interventions. Anurag has been actively involved in the legal field since 2005.

Anurag Asthana completed their education in law, specializing in corporate law. In the year 2000, they enrolled at freshers Jobs India, where they earned a B.sl,LLB degree. Anurag continued their education there until 2005. In 2022, they furthered their studies at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, pursuing a degree in corporate law referred to as EPBCL. This educational journey highlights their dedication and expertise in the field of law.
