Sai Kiran Dhami

Sai Kiran Dhami has a diverse and extensive work experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Sai Kiran started their career at Punj Lloyd Ltd. in 2000, where they worked as a Lead Planner on a cross-country crude oil pipeline project in Turkey. Sai Kiran worked on various aspects of the project, including construction and project management.

In 2005, Sai Kiran joined Reliance Engineering Associates Ltd. as a Lead Planner, where they worked on telecom projects in Jaipur and refinery projects in Jamnagar, India.

Sai Kiran then moved on to RELIANCE INFOCOMM INFRASTRUCTURE LIMITED in 2006, where they served as a Lead Planner for the Jaipur state.

In 2007, Sai Kiran joined Reliance Retail as a Project Development Lead, overseeing the construction of central processing and distribution centers in multiple cities in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, India.

In 2008, they joined Reliance Energy Limited as a Functional Head, leading the project planning and controls team for thermal power projects in India. Sai Kiran played a significant role in monitoring and coordinating different functions to ensure project progress and achieve targets.

From 2012 to 2014, Sai Kiran worked at Accenture Management Consulting as a Management Consultant. Sai Kiran contributed to various projects, including the development of a Point of View on "Information to Insights" and leading operational excellence programs for clients in Saudi Arabia.

Since 2014, Sai Kiran has been associated with Sterlite Power. Sai Kiran initially joined as a Functional Head and Vice President, responsible for functions such as strategy, operational excellence, and project management. Later, they took on the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Executive Vice President, leading the company's growth and establishing it as a significant player in the energy sector. Under their leadership, Sterlite Power secured multiple projects worth billions of dollars in Brazil and established a strong organizational structure.

In 2020, Sai Kiran took on the role of Chief Business Excellence at Sterlite Power, overseeing the company's overall excellence and performance.

Throughout their career, Sai Kiran has demonstrated their ability to set up new business units, lead teams, and deliver strategic projects with a focus on operational excellence and project management.

Sai Kiran Dhami pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Shivaji University from 1995 to 1999. Later, from 1999 to 2000, they obtained a Master's Degree in Advance Construction Management from the National Institute of Construction Management & Research (NICMAR).
