Rich is a New York attorney with over 20 years of experience litigating highly contested residential and commercial real estate foreclosure matters in both the trial and appellate courts. He brings his significant experience in Creditors’ Rights, Real Estate, Real Owned Property (REO) as well as litigating complicated Title Curative Matters and defending claims made under the Fair Debt Act.

Rich has specialized experience representing lenders in commercial foreclosure matters and conducting cooperative apartment enforcement actions under the Uniform Commercial Code. He brings his knowledge and talents in settlement negotiations, deposition, discovery, motion practice, oral argument, and trial in the New York State Supreme Court. Rich has represented some of the largest lenders and loan servicers in the United States, methodically approaching all legal services with a strong emphasis on creating a well-developed detailed legal strategy inclusive of proper execution and follow through to ensure successful outcomes, even with the most difficult matters.

Rich has mastered the nuances and difficulties of practicing law in the New York courts Rich enthusiastically partners with firm clients and he is adamant that exceptional customer service is defined by relentless file preparation and a continual communications stream with clients and trial witnesses. He also prides himself as a trusted and responsive “go-to” partner for firm clients and staff members.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Rich served for 10+ years in federal law enforcement, in both an investigative and supervisory role, and brings a unique body of professional and legal experience to the practice of law. Rich feels his past experience has afforded him an ability to communicate respectfully and effectively with clients, judges, court personnel, and defendants alike.
