Dakota Salazar

Dakota Salazar is an experienced professional in the live event production industry, currently serving as an A2 Sound Technician for Stern Grove Festival Association since May 2022. Dakota's expertise includes interpreting stage plots and managing complex audio setups. Concurrently, Dakota works as a Stagehand for Noise Pop Industries and as an Event Technician for SFJAZZ, overseeing stage builds and logistics for various events. Additional roles include Production Assistant at The Independent SF and Production Specialist with The Tape Project. Dakota also runs a freelance video production business, contributing to films and music videos, and previously taught music performance as a mentor at Bandworks. Dakota holds a double bachelor's degree in Cinema and Technocultural Studies and Music Theory from the University of California, Davis.
