George Gomez

Evp/chief Creative Officer at Stern Pinball

George Gomez has a strong and extensive work history in the gaming industry. George began their career at Bally/Midway in 1978 as a Game Designer, where they eventually led design teams. After that, they worked at Marvin Glass & Associates as a Toy Inventor/Designer, inventing toys that were licensed to major toy companies. George then moved on to Grand Products as a Creative Director in the coin operated game industry, where they consulted on various game designs. In 1993, they joined Williams Electronics Games as a Game Designer before transitioning to Midway Games in 1999 as an Executive Producer. After leaving Midway Games in 2008, they joined Incredible Technologies as a Designer, working on innovative games in the slot business. Finally, in 2011, they became the EVP/Chief Creative Officer at STERN Pinball, where they currently hold the position.

George Gomez obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois Chicago, where they studied from 1973 to 1978.
