Stephanie Elmer is a seasoned intellectual property attorney currently serving as Counsel at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox since November 2022, after holding a similar position there from August 2007 to February 2020. Specializing in patent prosecution, Stephanie has extensive experience with freedom-to-operate assessments, patentability, due diligence, invalidity, and non-infringement opinions, particularly in the fields of biotechnology, chemistry, polymers, and stem cells. Educationally, Stephanie holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
