JJ Kapur is currently a Steve Jobs Archive Fellow, participating in a program that nurtures young creators at the intersection of technology and liberal arts. As an AmeriCorps Fellow with CultureALL, JJ Kapur enhances program offerings and promotes cultural exchange in rural Iowa. JJ Kapur also serves a Hometown Fellowship through Lead For America, focusing on local challenges in Des Moines while engaging in leadership training. Additionally, JJ Kapur portrays simulated patients at Des Moines University to aid medical students. In the Interfaith Innovation Fellowship, JJ Kapur works on community interfaith projects. As a research assistant at Stanford University, JJ Kapur investigates family dynamics affecting Asian American adolescents. Previous roles include media analyst for suicide prevention initiatives and intern at The Sikh Coalition, where JJ Kapur created a video series highlighting community volunteers. JJ Kapur holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Theater and Performance Studies from Stanford University and an Associate of Arts from Des Moines Area Community College.
